Hold or suspend my membership

The City offers the flexibility of putting your membership on hold, subject to meeting certain conditions. 

Memberships may be put on hold for a minimum of seven days.  

Complete the online form to request your membership be placed on hold. Requests must be made in advance, in writing. We are unable to retrospectively hold your membership, unless your request is accompanied by a medical certificate.  

A $10 bank administration fee applies per suspension to all direct debit memberships.  

Your suspension will be put on hold in 2-3 working days, please wait for an email from Karratha Leisureplex to confirm it has been processed.

Please advise staff on your return. Submitting the form is entering an agreement to a new expiry date – the amount of time your membership is held will be added on to your membership term.   

If you don’t advise us of your return date, your membership time may be reduced.   

You may be asked to provide evidence to support your request for suspending your, membership, such as a medical certificate. 

You can request your membership be placed on hold for a variety of reasons, including going on holiday, illness, or business travel, including FIFO work.
