As part of the 2024/25 Annual Budget, the City adopted a suite of initiatives to ease the cost of living pressures on families in our community.
This includes a 20 per cent discount to all owner-occupiers for , aquatic discount book passes and aquatic memberships to the Karratha Leisureplex, Wickham and Roebourne Aquatic Centres.
Other initiatives include our lights on program at City facilities in Wickham and Roebourne, as well as a 20 per cent discount to owner occupiers for shows at the Red Earth Arts Precinct.
To access this discount, all you need to do to is attend any of our three centres and provide your rates notice with current photo ID to register for the reduced fee. This is eligible at all three of our aquatic facilities.
What is eligible
Aquatic discount book passes and aquatic memberships to the Karratha Leisureplex, Wickham and Roebourne Aquatic Centres.
What's not eligible
- Gym or fitness class casual entries or memberships
- Personal Training services
- Any “Group” fees (Court hire – oval hire – aquaruns etc)
- Kiosk items
- Swim school and lessons
- Single Aquatic entry
Conditions
- Can attend any of the Centres and provide rates notice and current photo ID with address to register
- Ratepayer and immediate family living at the same address eligible (evidence required e.g Medicare Card)
- Once registered will be eligible for 12 months until 30 June 2025
